What supplements should i take if im trying to build more upper body muscle.?

I know to take protein shakes and all that but is there any supplements to help boost my metabolism because i am new to body building and i have to take in like 5000 calories a day and i don’t want to put on any "fat weight" just pure muscle or if you have any tips to making a metabolism better please tell me

I would say supplement it with a good does of pumping iron.

And 5k a day seems a bit high short of you being shaq that will lead to fat.

And putting on pure muscle is the had balance, need to eat enough to allow for good recovery, while not eating to much to become a fatty. Since this is hard, this is why alot of people bulk then cut. I personally think of it as winter and summer.

And no, you dont get huge and buff over night, its every boys dream and every girls nightmare. Just dont happen, you will see great improvements in the first 3 months and then from there it will slow down.

I’m a teenager just overcoming obesity and trying to renew myself for the year. For the sports I play, I want to build muscle, yet keep myself from becoming too huge. I’m not too knowledgeable of helpful tips and workouts, but I definitely want to build muscle in my upper body and torso. My lower body is perfectly sculpted due to football. From workouts to certain types of supplements, I want to build muscle preferably before April–or Spring Break.

Brad, there are no shortcuts when it comes to building a fantastic physique. Below are the steps you must do to build muscle and gain weight.

1. Know what you want in the end before you even begin.

2. Figure out your daily calorie needs and increase them.
3. Nutrition
4. Reps, Sets, Length of Workout and rest between sets.
5. How Many Muscles Groups, Days to Train, and Rest.
6. Cardio: How Much and When.
7. Supplements.

There seems to be a lot going on in the world these days and i just can’t seem to get a break like a lot you i bet. Lately I’ve been having serious problems with school, loss of job and girlfriend. I guess it can be said that I’m stressed and because of that I’ve lost about 15+ pounds in a little under a year. I’m almost ashamed to be seen i feel so small. I need a good daily diet as well as a good daily workout routine, so that i can gain 15lbs+ in the next two months if possible. I’m open to supplement too, but only the healthy one that don’t effect my little fire fighter lol.
