Hey just wondering: … Hey just wondering: is this real?
I’m not trying to degrade the bravery of soldiers if it is, but the odd time it seems like it might not be real.
I remember reading … I remember reading that too. TWENTY hits from a 20mm?? That’s a bunch of reeeally big holes lol. These things really could take a beating.
Pat Tillman. He was … Pat Tillman. He was younger but he turned down a pro NFL contract to join the Rangers. Eventually killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan.
Good point, … Good point, considering there are Hollywood idiots mouthing off support for Chavez and other anti-Americans. But I don’t think a one of them could even shine the shoes of these WW II vets.
also to kill mostly … also to kill mostly a b-17 figters would use the 262 jet because it have tremendous firepower which uis no match for a b-17 alone
b-17 flying fortess … b-17 flying fortess was a bomber use to bomb places during ww2 it usally had poor speed but power guns usally german come and attack them b-17 was no match for some german 30mm cannons
I’m pretty sure … I’m pretty sure this is an excerpt from a B-17 film by Clark Gable, who enlisted in the AF after his wife Carole Lombard was killed in a plane crash en route home from a war bond campaign. He was in his 40s but wanted to do his part. He graduated from gunnery school and was asked by the AF to do a film about the air war. He went on a number of combat missions. What big star today would do that? How about zero.
The fighter escorts … The fighter escorts didn´t have the range to accompany the bombers all the way to the targets and back again until the last year of the campaign. Then the P-51 with drop tanks could go all the way. When that happened Herrmann Goering saw p-51´s in the skies over Berlin. He then said we have lost the war. However if Hitler hadn´t meddled with everything and had decided to go with Me 262 as a fighter from the start, the Me 262 would have made bombing impossible.
i thought that b17 … i thought that b17 was a fortres but after this video i realy doubt! how could the fighters which was outnumberd by the b17-s bring them down 1 by 1?
really wired! you see one german fighter going back to 1 bomber and than that bomber goes of like crazy without engines in flame or something else hapening tp him but just losing control! hm i am thinking what kind of weapons was those nazi using that could disable those bombers so easily or it was just an demonstration video?
wow that is intense … wow that is intense. many pilots and former pilots in my family and i want to be one eventually this made the hair on the back of my neck raise!

Maybe you just had …
Maybe you just had to be there. My father was. Were you?
And that ain’t no demo. Forget about Reality TV and discover what your ancestors before you and I went through.
You need to find an old soul that existed before you were even born. If you don’t know what that means, then you are already lost.
