It’s cuz when the characters were first created in Japan, it was shortly before the whole Mike Tyson rape fiasco happened and the character (Balrog/M. Bison) was supposedly modeled after the real life boxer. So when the American version of SF2 came out, they decided to change the names around to avoid controversy.

SF4 but the thing about sf4 is that you have to stay on it train and never give up like many scrubs that find the game to hard and quit those people are worthless keep playing and dont get bugged over a loss you learn evrymatch seriously even when you think you dont you do keep at it.
