@Corleonetone They … @Corleonetone They changed that rule because of that fight! Sometimes it’s referred to, nowadays, as the “Genki Sudo Rule” (if a fight is stopped to, for example, check a cut, when restarted the fighters are kept in the same position as they were)
The fight was over … The fight was over when the BJJ guy took those knees in the face. I’m amazed that today no knees / elbows are allowed. In this way this competion doesn’t allow muay thai to compare to the other arts anymore, as it relies heavily on elbows/knees.
you didnt see genki … you didnt see genki back in the ufc after the lose because well he didnt lose but more than that it was his inside the ring antics while I think he was great and mad me laugh watch the london ufc fight against Leigh Remedios this guy has no idea how to face him and other fighters complained and so when he lost he was not asked back but man genki was f*cking great hasnt fought since 2006 maybe he is too old now but saku will fight till he is 100
