First of all nobody … First of all nobody even cares about MMA in New York. Amateur boxing is strong here so everybody knows what the best fighting form is. Second, the biggest fights would NEVER be made here in NY. The biggest boxing fights run the away from this city/state and its taxes, and go to Vegas. When the UFC realizes it can’t have 10 “superstars” fight and make anything more than peanuts in NY, there will be no MMA in Ny. That is all.
Underground Combat … Underground Combat League? Pete Storm, did this guy say he found a loophole to not be illegal and one of them was not paying fighters?
or did he mean he found a loophole so he can legally pay fighters to avoid the “Prize Fighting” label, which is supposedly illegal

he’s overrated when he was champ in the ufc the only good fighter he fought was tito ortiz and ortiz was inexperienced and back then and still kicked his until he gassed out
MMA will be legal … MMA will be legal in NY soon. It’s long over-due though. Can’t wait to see the day though.

If boxing, judo, … If boxing, judo, wrestling, jiu-jitsu,muay thai, karate, etc.. are all legal in new york, I can’t see why the combination of these arts (mma) should be banned.
Any politician, … Any politician, athletic comissioner who wants to illegalize mma is a hypocrite, saying its just a blood sport, calling it Human cockfighting, complete BS. More people die in boxing, football, car racing than in mma. Plus we all know politicians are way way dirtier than of the mma fighter out there.
