Fight had me dozn from boringness. Rampage literally could hav knocked Rashad out silly………and just stopped punching. I have no clue why he just stopped punching when he had him hurt. Ring Rust was a horrible factor.

@ZLeeJonZ @ZLeeJonZ Im actually going to make a vid coming up here soon on how Greg Jackson camp is ruining the sport of mma…They’re all about throwing a punch and then going in for the shot..and they don’t get it they will just hold on and waste time. Thats why well see john jones will be a champ…he has the reach to stay on the outside and the wrestling to take them down……horrible…

@youngthizz81 I understand that. But there are plenty of guys that do put it all on the line and those are the guys the fans love. If this new style of taking advantage of the rules and point system catches on too much i fear there wont be many fans left. I liked GSP before his last 2 fights but he has become so safe its very apparent he is more worried about taking damage than giving it while in the cage. I guess the difference between me and you is that i CAN hate on boring fighters.

@ZLeeJonZ I agree fights are no where near as exciting as pride, but the thing is styles have changed in modern mma, guys know that they can win with superior wrestling and holding opponents dows. This is completely within the rules. I can’t hate on a fighter for doing whatever it takes to give himself the best chance to win. This is how they make money/eat..why risk getting knocked out for fans enjoyment when your and your familys livelyhood depends on your success in terms of winning?

@youngthizz81 I love MMA. I hate when a fight goes 3 rounds and neither guy looks damaged at all. Thats not fighting. How many fights in pride did both guys look as fresh as some of the guys in the UFC? GSP/Hardy, Mo/Mousasi, evans/silva, evans/rampage, shields/hendo, i can keep going. You consider those fights or wrestling matches with a few punches? Thing about all those fights besides the GSP/hardy fight was that the loser got MUCH closer to finishing the fight than the winner.

MMA is going down the drain. Who was closer to finishing the fight? Rampage. Greg Jacksons camp need to change its name to ‘camp lay n pray, 3 round decision win gym’. Absolutely ruining the sport… Guys are supposed to try and finish his opponent from the second the bell rings till the ref pulls you off… Not lay and pray till the klast 10 seconds THEN try to GnP.
