@whatryouthinking Thats a good call, i’d like to see what big nog can do if he really prepares for it properly this time minus the staph infection and blown out knee or whatever. Against Randy he seemed really crisp and on his game, think it might be a motivational thing holding him at 80% instead of steaming on at full force!!

@nicetna2010 That’s where your wrong Silva has a good chance of winning but don’t completely count Mir out maybe you forgot but Silva hast lost before in pride by two fighters who put submissions on him and that’s Frank Mir’s strongpoint Silva was submitted by Daiju Takase via triangle choke and by Ryo Chonan via scissor heel hook similar to what Mir did to Brock, Silva isn’t as invincible as people seem to think he is…

Anderson silva hasn’t shown anything since the rich franklin fight. He needs to move up since he’s so bored with 185. He has proved noone can beat him @ 185..let’s move up and fight a good 205er or hvywt like shogun or velasquez or even mir

No no no. Terrible idea. Frank Mir is an easiest possible match-up for Anderson Silva. Frank is slow on his feet, he has no chin, terrible footwork. And Frank is not a takedown-artist. Anderson would rip Frank apart in a matter of seconds. Frank Mir should concentrate on rubber match with Wes Sims. That would a much more interesting fight for everybody. Frank Mir is the most overrated fighter in MMA.

Silva as a heavyweight…c’mon he’s built like a long distance runner. I don’t think it would be possible for him to put enough weight on to make the heavyweight cutoff. What’s the point anyway, there is no way that string bean could touch lesnar or carwin. Could he beat mir? Of course, mir doesn’t have a scrap of talent. He’s fat and slow and only serves as a punching bag for real heavyweights.
