    I speak about this …
    I speak about this subject in my weekly blog…I only wondered how much the insitution is useing this for ratings…I think they should start to strip these champions and fire them…to be fair…if that happened in any other area of employment, they would be out on their ears!

  2. slapp11 Says:

    sheilds an diaz …
    sheilds an diaz should be at the least stripped of there titles

  3. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @metlhed77 I agree, …
    @metlhed77 I agree, but in the terms of the mainstream media, public television (i.e. CBS) and how the sport is viewed, it wasn’t good. Strikeforce had a bad night.

  4. metlhed77 Says:

    I hear you on …
    I hear you on everything that you’re saying, and I do think at least Mayhem and the Diaz Brothers should be suspended but I don’t think it’s going to hurt the sport that much. Yes mma is a very young sport but I still think Canada and New York are still going to look into regulating it. I’m a huge fan of MMA and watch every organization’s events I can, but you’ve got to remember, the casual fan will still pay attention to the UFC before Strikeforce’s shenanigans.

  5. flahr1 Says:

    I agree with your …
    I agree with your views on MMA as of late. It reminded me of WWE, like some scripted chair throwing. Very amatuerish.

  6. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @panoca It was …
    @panoca It was entertaining, but the actions of all involved do not help the sport. There should be suspensions off of this, but it won’t happen.

  7. panoca Says:

    Dude, in terms of …
    Dude, in terms of audience, I don´t think it was THAT bad. I do feel a little bit guilty for that, but I can´t help to find very funny to see this kind of post fight riot… I am sure other feels the same. Most of people would tune in to see that stuff!!! BTW, Mayhem was being an but did not started the punches. I say 30% of their next purse to teen anger management program. If you suspend them, you would be punnishing the fans.

  8. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @doliveij You …
    @doliveij You noticed I said “I guess” because during this video I was lost for words. What is the realistic chance that anything will actually be done over this? More than likely nothing at all. They won’t be criminally charged.

  9. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @doliveij Well …
    @doliveij Well something should be done to send a message, but nothing will come of this. I agree, that is why I said that 5 guys should have thought with their heads instead of acting out of control, mayhem included. Yeah, Mayhem shouldn’t have done what he did, but what ensued afterwards was totally unnecessary. This isn’t the first time the Diaz’s have pulled this, and in fact if I remember they interrupted Noons trying to celebrate his victory…..hmmm. All in all all of it was out of line.

  10. doliveij Says:

    Criminal charges?

    Criminal charges?

    OMG!!!

    You want them to go to jail for a sports brawl? You want teams to go to jail for “bench clearing brawls?” You want guys going to jail for charging the mound?

    dood. That is ridiculous!

    Criminal charges?

    WOW!

  11. doliveij Says:

    @hattrickhockey17

    @hattrickhockey17

    You want three of STRIKEFORCE’S five champions to be suspended?

    Not sure if that would be good for strikeforce?

    And no, it wasn’t jokingly. It was discomfort. Mayhem was just as out of line as the Diaz bros. Dude had no business in there.

    i like your opinionated videos keep doing them please!

  13. jagc3ve Says:

    @jagc3ve I don’t …
    @jagc3ve I don’t think this was the case. Miller try to hype a potential fight on his own and it turned out in a complete mess.

  14. jagc3ve Says:

    I don’t believe …
    I don’t believe it’ll get to the point where they’re going to get charged, but I won’t be surprised if the fighters involved in this brawl get suspended or fined, just to set a precedent for future events. You see this kind of stuff in other promotions or even in boxing (challenger goes in there to have a face a staredown against the champ), but most of the times those things are planned.

  15. thefightingclub1 Says:

    cool vid YET AGAIN! …
    cool vid YET AGAIN!!!! man. We have similar views on mma and the world as a whole really. Also like that when I look at your comments section it is full of mature, respectful fight fans who are open to different views, I sick and tired of this new breed of trashy, glory hunting fans, who choose there “favourite” fighter and dont talk like adults, basically the fedor, brock, silva, gsp fanboys

  16. tman229 Says:

    @hattrickhockey17 …
    @hattrickhockey17 Doubt it. Even in UFC and even boxing post fight interviews fighters come in and interrupt the winner. But you DO NOT jump the guy for it. That is just plain dumb. Miller didn’t even mean any disrespect. I was looking at the interview with him and Nick Diaz after what happened. It’s just the way Miller is.

  17. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @joey1324 Agreed. I …
    @joey1324 Agreed. I hope that everyone involved gets fined and suspended, but sadly I don’t see that happening.

  18. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @stfuyougotktfo …
    @stfuyougotktfo This is true, but what resulted in the ok night of fights department and the brawl didn’t help with bad ratings.

  19. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @vinnymackdx we will have to see what happens in the coming weeks, it should be interesting.

  20. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @BillyDKY MMA is …
    @BillyDKY MMA is still young enough to have these hiccups affect long term things. Most importantly regulation in other states/countries and ultimately turning new fans away.

    @anuer Thanks for the support.

  22. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @RightWingBashers …
    @RightWingBashers The problem was that Miller coming in wasn’t planned. Rampage after the Jardine fight knew that Rashad was going to get in the cage to face off. Same with Brock and Carwin, the UFC and Carwin both knew he was coming in there to hype the next fight, and “they” used their heads, and were respectful in doing so. What happened at Strikeforce wasn’t planned and guys instead of using their brains, went off the deep end. It made it look like thugs fight instead of athletes.

  23. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @RightWingBashers I …
    @RightWingBashers I agree, but he still did stuff in the cage or ring while I agree it was funny still was disrespectful. My point was to show that I don’t condone disrespect by fighters in the cage or ring.

  24. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @gijoyojo1 I know …
    @gijoyojo1 I know that was something I forgot to cover, glad you brought that up. Him saying that was a absolute fail. I am sure something was said to him about it. The only solid thing he said during the whole melee was “Gentlemen we are on national television, Gentlemen…”

  25. hattrickhockey17 Says:

    @drew1355555 I …
    @drew1355555 I agree. Mayhem ultimately may face some penalties too, but in the end it will show that if you act like that, you face fines and suspensions. The sad fact though, is I doubt that anything will happen.
