@cornelwaugh I … @cornelwaugh I think you are a bit confused. Caucasoid, mongoloid and negroid are races. Just as a Caucasian born in Africa would be called an African, being ‘Brazilian’ does not constitute a race.

So, I apologize in advance for what I am about to say: ‘Borderline racist…’ ? Why did you have to say that? Is it because he is a white republican? Since this is now a racial issue, do you think black folks will ever stop pulling the race card on white folks they disagree with? Isn’t it a bit racist always claiming to be the victim of it?
Umm you made a … Umm you made a mistake, u said “even though Matt Hughes didn’t get submission of the night, he would have gotten submission of the year” Dana said it in the post fight press conference that both Anderson and Hughes’ submissions were so great he gave them both submission of the night and bonuses.

Also, for Struve, I … Also, for Struve, I thought his leg kick at the beginning of the second round was pretty cheap. He basically threw the kick right as they touched gloves which I’m pretty sure is what off Morecraft. Morecraft fought like an idiot after that and Struve took advantage, but still, I’m not impressed with Struve. He could get seriously hurt with the way he takes punishment from the bottom.
After Sonnen got … After Sonnen got Silva down again in the 5th round, I was pretty much expecting Sonnen to stay active enough that the ref wouldn’t stand them up. Once Silva threw up that triangle tho, I went crazy!
Do you think this proves GSP could hang with Silva? I think it does, and I could see GSP taking Silva down all 5 rounds and controlling him. And how epic would it have been if it was GSP taking Silva to the limit at this event instead of Sonnen? They should’ve pulled the trigger on that match by now
Submission setups, … Submission setups, I saw them all night but he never committed to throwing one on Sonnen until the end for some reason. I honestly think he wanted to knock him out rather than submitting him. Even if Silva said in the post fight that he wanted to win by submission I don’t believe him. I think he wanted to put his lights out.
I agree with almost … I agree with almost everything. I wasn’t happy with Silva’s win. I’m a big fan of his and I was happy he pulled it off in the end but… Sonnen isn’t a beast. He’s not bad but he’s no champ. He don’t know how to finish a fight. Not in the UFC anyway. I don’t know if Silva was being honest about the ribs or not but something wasn’t right. He didn’t go out there and fight like he normally does. In a rematch I see Sonnen finished really early in the fight.
It was difficult to … It was difficult to discern exactly what happened during the triangle/arm bar. When in an arm bar, there is want to tap early. Arm-bars hurt and can cause damage-obviously. I believe that Sonnen went to tap early, and then realized the arm-bar was not in deep. It was then that Silva adjusted the angle, and Sonnen would have tapped anyway.

1st of all great … 1st of all great fight. 2nd i truly believe silva wanted the fight on the ground since sonnen mouth disrespected his black belt thats why at the end silva mentioned jiu-jitsu with a smile.3rd if you ask me sonnen face looked SMASHED not silva. sonnen had him in the ground thats all and that earns him points BUT FAILED. and lastly i hope for a REMATCH and this time it will be quick bcuz he will be healthy. pound for pound NO DOUBT THE BEST. peace
