what can i do coming up to a fight?
hi guys, ive a fight coming up in two weeks time is there anythin i can do in the few days leading up to it with reards to increasing energy, ie high carbs or any good supplements? its a mma fiht. cheers
I agree with the answer that said if you need to ask this question on Yahoo Answers, you are probably not ready for a full contact match.
Who are your trainers? What do they have to say? Listen to the people who are going to be in your corner as there are hundreds of very different prep routines.
I drink coffee before a match and take 1000mgs of Niacin. This opens all the capillaries for maximum circulation. This will make a cut bleed a little more, but I am OK with that. You need a program that works for you, and we don’t know you. I eat healthy all the time and try to live healthy so there is nothing to change. Eat well, get plenty of rest, and keep a clear conscience.

just before the fight for carbs eat rice or noodles
they have starch, a type of suger that acts as a carb and gives you energy
just don’t have too much

Why do you need to ask this on Yahoo answers? Do you not have training partners or a coach who can advise? fairly basic stuff…

To answer this question correctly there are a ton of variables regarding your current weight, what weight you are fighting at, what your normal diet is etc. Your best answer will come from you rtrainer who knows you well personally. Veggies with natural sugars, bananas for potasium and are soft on the stomach. I don’t use supplements so can’t help you there.

Hi, I can appreciate your desire to give yourself the best chances at winning or getting the best placing you can but my advice is do not do anything different – its to late in the day the be changing your routine, diet or anything really. You know what works for you so don’t go taking chances now, very best of luck with the fight
