In a word, annihilation.

The undefeated Cain Velasquez tore through Brock Lesnar in a career-defining performance, as he captured the heavyweight championship in the UFC 121 “Lesnar versus Velasquez” main event Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The end came 4 minutes, 12 seconds into Round 1, as Velasquez reached the mountaintop just nine fights into his professional career.

“I trained for a five-round fight,” Velasquez said. “I’m always ready for that. You can’t expect an early stoppage.”

Velasquez weathered an early attack from the hulking former World Wrestling Entertainment superstar, kept his composure and picked his spots with power, precision and resolve. Lesnar took down the challenger twice in the first two minutes, and Velasquez answered the challenge seamlessly on both occasions. Velasquez scored with his own takedown 2:48 into the period, took a dominant position in back of the champion and pummeled him with punches and hammerfists. From there, it was all downhill for Lesnar.

“We expected him to come out, go hard in and go for the takedown,” Velasquez said. “We were ready for that. We worked on positions, on worst-case scenarios.”

Lesnar twice returned to his feet, only to be met with more strikes from the American Kickboxing Academy standout. A two-punch combination dropped the champion near the cage, and Velasquez pounced. Lesnar fought valiantly to defend himself but ate too many punches, forcing Herb Dean to step in on his behalf. He rose to his feet beaten, battered and bloodied.

“I expected nothing less,” Lesnar said. “I knew there was a great challenge in front of me. He’s a great fighter. What can I say? He was better than me tonight.”

Bsn syntha-6- great flavors but pretty fattening. Mixes very ez with water.

Optimum Nutrition platinum hydro whey- Low fat.. taste okay in chocolate. Mixes well with water.

Creatine:
Bsn Cell mass-awesome taste, small serving which is great

Muscletech Cell-tech- taste pretty good, larger servings which I don’t like.

Nitric oxide:
Muscletech nanovapor- This one works quick but you will crash afterwards… good for night time

BSN NO Xplode- This one is good for mornings it last for a long time. Works well if you’re trying to wake up for work too.

Gaspari Superpump 250- This works well for me but keeps me up all night so it would be good for morning/ mid day workouts.

I dont use fat burners but I’ve seen some friends gain really impressive results from these: Nutrex Lipo-6 Black or Muscletech hydroxycut hardcore

Remember that ever “body” works differently so you might wanna try different supplements to see if they react better. You’ll generally see results within a month. For the nitric oxide.. its pretty much instant. Anyways hope that answers a lot of your questions regarding supplements!

Seven-time karate champion João Gilherme Bendly, was responsible for mimicking Lyoto Machida’s fighting style as a sparring partner for Shogun Rua.

In an interview with www.Tatame.com, Bendly said the following.

I memorized Lyoto from the top to the bottom so that I can impose myself in front of Shogun, because what he needed was the karates timing, the defense techniques of Lyoto. This timing is different and requires years of practice in Karate and thats exactly what he needs. I adapted my game to Lyotos and did what he does in front of Shogun to do this specific training.”

I think that Lyoto wont change much his style because its been working very well for him. You cant change ten years of practice in four months. I guess he will still be defensive since hes really good at it, counter attacking. He may work on this timing and be more prepared just as Shogun. But I think Shogun will win.”

“I think it will be like the last fight, the kicks from Shogun are certain and I think this fight will be aggressive, rather than the previous one.”
