The King of Fighters 13 review. Classic Game Room reviews THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII for Xbox 360 (also for Playstation 3 PS3) from SNK Playmore and Atlus. CGR The King of Fighters XIII video review features The King of Fighters 13 gameplay in HD from the Xbox 360 video game console. There’s 30+ playable characters including numerous SNK fan favorites like Mai, Andy and Robert. Play through the arcade mode, storyline more, challenges mode or enjoy some online multiplayer gameplay or a local on the couch 2-player fighting fest. Visuals are stylish and run smoothly but retain the classic 2D charm from the Neo-Geo (although they aren’t as chunky as they used to be). Music and sounds are excellent and SNK Playmore and Atlus should be applauded for releasing such a fun and playable entry in The King of Fighters series.

Two mixed martial artists from Oregon were in Los Angeles for a grappling tournament, but they ended up using their skills to do much more than win a match. They subdued an armed robber who was holding up the clerk at their hotel. Watch the security video in this report from KCAL-TV. Brent Alvarez runs Twisted Web MMA in Eugene, Ore., and Billy Denney is his student. They were walking through the hotel lobby when they saw the robber, who had gone behind the hotel’s counter, pulled out a gun, and demanded money. The clerk handed over the cash, but yelled for help. Alvarez and Denney jumped on the robber, and while Denney controlled his wrists, Alvarez sunk in a rear naked choke. They held him in place until police arrived.

…Dylan and Lauren (or ’sandalwood’ as they are calling themselves) perform their favourite track ‘Everlong’ (Dave, Grohl, Foo Fighters) in the OxJam tent at Electric Picnic festival 2010.

lauren (11) spotted the ‘open mic’ sign outside the oxjam tent, grabbed her brother and barrelled over …within barely a minute I heard them announce ‘next up a brother and sister combo…’ and I barely had time to get in with the camera, thankfully it took dylan a minute to retune the borrowed guitar to drop-D.

Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters play Oxegen 2011 – can’t wait! And roll on Electric Picnic, Castlepalooza, and the rest of festival season! Might do Best of You next
