The King of Fighters 13 review. Classic Game Room reviews THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII for Xbox 360 (also for Playstation 3 PS3) from SNK Playmore and Atlus. CGR The King of Fighters XIII video review features The King of Fighters 13 gameplay in HD from the Xbox 360 video game console. There’s 30+ playable characters including numerous SNK fan favorites like Mai, Andy and Robert. Play through the arcade mode, storyline more, challenges mode or enjoy some online multiplayer gameplay or a local on the couch 2-player fighting fest. Visuals are stylish and run smoothly but retain the classic 2D charm from the Neo-Geo (although they aren’t as chunky as they used to be). Music and sounds are excellent and SNK Playmore and Atlus should be applauded for releasing such a fun and playable entry in The King of Fighters series.

Classic Game Room reviews STREET FIGHTER ALPHA 3 for Sega Dreamcast from Capcom released in 1999, also known as Street Fighter Zero 3 in Japan for the Japanese Sega Saturn. Street Fighter Alpha 3 on Dreamcast has silky smooth gameplay, amazing 2D graphics and sound combined with awesome controls (although the DC controller is awful, fighting stick recommended.) Play as your favorite old school characters like Chun-Li, Guile and Blanka or find some less common ones, with a roster of about 30 fighters to choose from there’s something for everyone in Street Fighter Alpha 3 for Dreamcast. This videogame is also available for Sega Saturn, PS1 and Japanese Dreamcast. CGR review of Street Fighter Alpha 3 has gameplay from the Sega Dreamcast release of Street Fighter Alpha 3 showing SF Alpha 3 game play in HD.

Sorry PlayStation fans, I know you’ve been asking nicely, but you’re not going to be cross-game chatting on your PS3 anytime soon… or ever for that matter. Sony told Eurogamer that it’s actually a technical limitation of the system: the way the system works, there’s not enough RAM for it. This means giving players the ability to talk to one another while enjoying separate games is just not possible–for current hardware anyway. And in case you were wondering, the Playstation Vita has even more RAM than Sony’s home console, giving it the boost it needs to support the feature.
In game release news, we’ve got dates and release windows for some hotly anticipated titles. On September 14th, Sackboy will finally start acting like a sackboy in Little Big Planet 2’s Move DLC. The new add-on will allow you to control Sackboy like a puppet with the Move controller and then record those movements as an animation. Should be pretty cool.
Also, Jurassic Park: The Game will hit worldwide on November 15th. The game is being developed by Telltale software, who worked on the recent episodic Back to the Future games. Unlike that game, all four episodes of Jurassic Park will release on day one…so you won’t have to wait to finish the story.

Last but not least, fans of crossover fighters will love to hear that Street Fighter Cross Tekken has a release window. The developers are targeting a spring 2012 release, so hopefully a half-year wait is just the thing you need to get amped for this epic showdown.
