Forrest on Fight w/ Tito “It has to be done” – Inside MMA

Tito Ortiz has one more fight in his illustrious UFC career and he wants it to be against Forrest Griffin. He even went so far as to call out Forrest on Inside MMA. So with Forrest on the panel this week we had him respond to Tito’s callout for a fight.

Phil Davis predicts Evans vs Jones – Inside MMA

MMA H.E.A.T.’s Karyn Bryant catches up with UFC welterweight contender Nick Diaz at the Throwdown Training Center in Las Vegas, NV, and hears what he has to say about training with Strikeforce fighter Ronda Rousey and his upcoming fight with Carlos Condit at UFC 143. Rousey, who won an Olympic bronze medal in Judo, took the opportunity to exchange ideas with Nick, who in turn was more than happy to teach her some of what he knows about BJJ and MMA. Filmed on December 28, 2011, Nick talks about training for his fight with Carlos Condit, how he feels about the fact that GSP had to drop out of his scheduled fight with Nick and what he thinks when he hears an opponent is too injured to fight.

UFC on FOX’s Demian Maia on Fighting Weidman Instead Of Bisping, Chael Beating Anderson

MMA H.E.A.T.’s Karyn Bryant talks via Skype with middleweight Demian Maia, days before his UFC on FOX fight against Chris Weidman. Demian, who was originally scheduled to fight Michael Bisping, talks about fighting the up-and-coming American instead of the top ten-ranked Briton and why it was so important for him to stay on the UFC on FOX fight card. He also lets us know how confident he is in his Jiu Jitsu vs Weidman’s, why he admires his opponent’s abilities and whether or not he thinks Bisping is a bad guy. When the discussion turns to the UFC middleweight division, Demian lets us know if he thinks Chael Sonnen could beat champ Anderson Silva and how he feels about his own loss to Silva in 2010. On a lighter note, Demian admits to his love of junk food and the joys of having a daughter- who incidentally is celebrating her first birthday that day.

Mark Muñoz on His Injury and His Return – Inside MMA
